Comments & References I have been coming to Camp La Plage since 1983 and have enjoyed every minute of every year's trip. We always come up the third week in May and, more than not, the weather is great and no black flies! We catch over 10 species of fish on a regular basis and in more years than not the fishing has been great!! Since taking over, Jayne & Paul have been gracious hosts that always make you feel like family, which I know we are!! (not in real life, just for one week/year). All of the memories that I have are great and it is a home away from home. If you're looking for an inexpensive and relaxing vacation with plenty of fish to boot, this is the place! Great times, Great fishing, Great friends and always a pleasure. That's Camp La Plage, my second home! Big Al from St. Clair Michigan I've been going to Camp La Plage since 1988 to duck hunt. It offers a very diverse selection of species to hunt. It is usually very good hunting, bordering on world class (according to my buddies from Chesapeake Bay - Ed & Gerry). There is also good grouse hunting within a short drive from camp. The camp is very cozy, Jayne and Paul make everybody feel at home. The fall up there is beautiful when the trees turn colour. I have such a great time there, that I spend 6 weeks in the fall at camp!!! Kevin or Can Kev (as known by my US buds)
